Grain is going back to its roots, according to Bob Quinn. The organic farmer, plant scientist and entrepreneur is passionate about the possibilities in some grains—and farming methods—from long ago.
Bob started Montana’s first wind farm, runs the ancient-grain business Kamut International and is the co-author of Grain by Grain: A Quest to Revive Ancient Wheat, Rural Jobs, and Healthy Food. He chatted with host Robin Sussingham about going against the grain in favor of pre-industralization food production methods.
“Everything is tied together. How we farm is tied to how we live. How we farm is how we eat, and how we eat is tied to what kind of health we enjoy. All these things are really knit together.” – Bob Quinn
