2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups quick cooking oats
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups sliced, pitted dates
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar, mixed brown and white
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Mix oats, nuts and dates with flour mixture. Cream oil, sugar and vanilla together well. Add eggs to oil and sugar mixture, beating after each one.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, beating only until blended.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 mins, or until done.
