Janet and Robin talk about the popular website and concept, Food52. It’s a community-contributed site where thousands of amateur and professional chefs have contributed their best recipes and the Food52 editors run it through their Test Kitchen for a stamp of approval. Some of the recipes are James Beard award winning and the resulting cookbooks have appeared on the New York Times best sellers list. Millions follow this foodie haven on social media, and we wanted to see if their recipes are as tantalizing as their cookbooks are beautiful.
Janet Keeler reviews Genius Desserts: 100 Recipes That Will Change How You Bake, which is compiled by Food52 Creative Director Kristen Miglore. Janet brought in her own beloved copy and shares some of her favorite recipes and why they work.
During the interview, Janet delights Robin with the coconut custard macaroons, which is an upscale take on the traditional. Want to try the Coconut Custard Macaroon recipe at home? Find it here on the Food52 website.
